Membership dues are currently the IPA's sole source of fundraising to pay for our lobbying efforts, public relations efforts and any miscellaneous costs incurred in our operations. All membership levels are invited to observe our monthly board meetings and to receive our monthly email updates as well as any other news materials as distributed throughout the year. Full Membership This entitles board election voting rights to one representative per Company/Organization, or individual who has joined the IPA at this level. Full Members are also eligible to be elected to committee chair positions by the IPA board. "Company/Organization" is defined as having three or more employees or members of a company or organization. Dues for a company/organization are $1,500 per year. "Individuals" are defined as single individuals or small businesses with two (2) or less employees. Dues for an individual member at this level are $250 per year. Supporting Membership This provides the full benefits of individual membership with the exception that supporting members are not eligible to vote or run for board seats. Supporting members wishing to chair a committee must report directly to a specified board member on a regular basis. Dues for supporting members are $100 per person per year. Student Membership Provides the full benefits of supporting membership for students. Students must be currently enrolled in an educational institution in order to apply for membership. Dues for Student Members are $50 per person per year. Membership renewals are sent out annually by the office of the IPA Treasurer with thirty (30) days notice.
